Nova announces Team promotions

Nova Capital Management, the specialist acquirer of private equity and corporate portfolios, is pleased to announce two new promotions which reflect the continued development of the business. Kathryn Jones and Llewellyn John have both been promoted to Associate Partners.

Since joining Nova both Kathryn and Llewellyn have been predominantly focused on the origination and execution of new portfolio acquisitions; this will remain their prime area going forward. Transactions they have successfully completed include the £75 million acquisition of the Barloworld Scientific Laboratory Group of businesses from Barloworld Limited, a South African listed international industrial company, and the US$98 million acquisition of two light industrial companies, RollEase and Diacom, from Gartland Whalley & Barker plc ("GWB"), a privately held group.

Kathryn joined Nova in 2005 from Close Brothers Corporate Finance where she was a corporate restructuring manager working on transactions spanning a broad range of industry sectors and jurisdictions. Llewellyn joined in 2006 having been with Deloitte as an assistant director in corporate finance transaction services advising on substantial transactions across a wide variety of industries.

David Williamson, managing partner, Nova said:

"We are pleased to announce these promotions within Nova. They reflect the excellent progress and strong contributions that both Kathryn and Llewellyn have made to the firm since they joined."
