Nova makes new Board appointment
Nova Capital Management, the specialist acquirer of corporate and private equity portfolios, is pleased to announce that David Carman has been appointed to the Board of Nova Capital Management Ltd. David joined Nova as an Operating Partner in 2006. He has worked with Simon Smith, Investment Partner, primarily on the Springboard plc portfolio of companies which Nova acquired in May 2006.
Since acquisition, the portfolio has seen consistent growth, both organically and through acquisition. Three of the businesses, MeetingZone**, Office Canopy** and Redeye* have been recognised by the Sunday Times Tech Track 100 Index as amongst the UK's fastest growing technology businesses. In addition Specialist Hire Group was recognised by the 2008 Sunday Times Buy-out Track 100 for private equity companies with the fastest growing profits.
