Funding Corporation

Founded in 2001, the Funding Corporation is the largest independent finance company in the UK. It provides finance to customers of car, motorbike and caravan dealers; provides personal loans; retails cars and motorbikes; and provides services to lending businesses such as block discounting and collection services. The Funding Corporation has enjoyed growth both organically and by way of acquisition.

The company was set up by a team who were instrumental in building Capital Bank. Jim Rowley, Managing Director, was the former General Manager of Capital Bank and MD of Forthright Finance, part of the Bank of Scotland. Over the last 20 years he has formed and developed around 20 similar finance companies from within the Bank of Scotland. He is one of the most successful sales people and builders of business in the finance industry.
